Tzipora Ronen with nurses on the day she was released.
Tzipora Ronen, patient and famous artist - whose works have been shown around the world and especially in Mexico, met the Davidoff family who have a home in Mexico and made this center possible. Tzipora commented: "after transfer to the new Oncology Department, I can tell you that as an artist, our surroundings make a difference in the way we feel, not to mention the comfort it provides in our moments of suffering. Cancer is a terrible disease, but one must never give up, and this new center helps to give me the strength to fight." She also complimented the warm compassionate, professional staff that has been with her through her long battle.
As hundreds of white and blue balloons
were released into the sky, the first
cancer patients walked through the
doors of the Davidoff Center on that
beautiful Sunday of May 8, 2005.
