Tzipora Ronen, patient and famous artist - whose works have been shown around the world and especially in Mexico, met the Davidoff family who have a home in Mexico and made this center possible. Tzipora commented: "after transfer to the new Oncology Department, I can tell you that as an artist, our surroundings make a difference in the way we feel, not to mention the comfort it provides in our moments of suffering. Cancer is a terrible disease, but one must never give up, and this new center helps to give me the strength to fight." She also complimented the warm compassionate, professional staff that has been with her through her long battle.
Three years ago the Integrative Medicine Unit opened its doors at Rabin Medical Center's Davidoff Cancer Center, offering cancer patients complementary medicine therapies which can be combined with their conventional medical treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation.
